At Eriksen's 131 we know driving enthusiasts in Boyne Falls demand more of their high-performance cars and trucks. When you turn a corner on Boyne Falls streets your front wheels pivot on steering knuckles connected to the steering rack. Your wheels are connected by the tie rod to the drag link bar to provide safety and handling in a turn. High-performance tie bars boast micro-adjustment options to make height and length adjustments between the tie rod and the wheel. The tie rod end that connects to the steering knuckle is susceptible to wear and failure with aggressive driving. Failure can throw off the car's alignment in a tight curve when the chassis of a car is under the most stress. High performance tie bar ends offer precision manufactured ball bearings to reduce wear and critical failures.
These simple anti-roll devices look like casters connected to the rear bumper by long bars of flexible Chromoly tubing. Let Eriksen's 131 be a part of your race team and install wheelie bars when you are ready to race. Wheelie bars take over in a skid and progressively unload the energy of the tire to keep a car right side up. Ready to add this important safety option to your car? Call Eriksen's 131 at 231-549-3333 and let's talk wheelie bars.
What People Say About Us
This place is amazing! I used hate getting my car worked on, because I never knew if I could trust the person, but Ericksen's is the complete opposite. Every time I've gotten anything fixed there, it's much more reasonably priced than the competition. I have a very limited knowledge of cars, and I've been to mechanics who want to replace multiple parts on the car when I hear one little noise, either because they're taking a shot in the dark or just simply because they want to make a buck. I had gotten used to one noise costing hundreds of dollars. There have been times where Ericksen's has looked at my car when I thought something might be off and they tell me there's nothing wrong. It's like magic, because there really is nothing wrong when I leave. When there is something wrong, they fix it right the 1st time for much less than I've paid for the same parts in the same parts at other places in the past.
I needed rear brakes after my emergency brake hung up and fried the pads and rotors. I was from out of town and on vacation so I did a Google maps search and found these guys. They did an excellent job at a reasonable price. I wish they had a branch in my hometown.
Always friendly, communicates very well, and most importantly does
good work. Have been there a number of times and am always
satisfied. Give big Scott a try. You will not be disappointed.
We had a tire issue and they went out of their way to fix it, nice as can be, highly recommended.
I highly recommend this repair shop if you are from out of town and on vacation. Our trucks front wheel bearing went out coming into town and the crew at Eriksen's 131 had me in and out in less then 90 minutes.
While on vacation, my car suddenly wouldn't start. I called around to five different garages, and nobody had any openings. One place said he couldn't see my car for two weeks!
When I called Eriksen's -- it was slightly farther from where I was located -- Scott said he could at least take a look at the car that day, and he recommended a towing company. The tow truck operator, Kevin, arrived within the hour, and my car was fixed and ready within 3 hours, despite Eriksen's lot loaded with other customers.
The price was fair and reasonable, and everybody involved was extremely helpful. Highly recommend Eriksen's!
Scott is amazing with his work on cars. He works on my whole family's and has for years.
